The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
